President’s Message

Welcome!

The Amesbury Rotary Club is a dynamic and fun group of approximately 45 members committed to living Rotary International’s motto of “Service Above Self”!  Our Club was founded in 1925 and continues to contribute time and resources to service projects both in our local communities as well as worldwide.

Rotary provides networking opportunities, friendships, service and much more.  Fellowship, as we work to meet the charitable needs of our local community and participate in international projects, is very rewarding.  This year’s theme is “Engage Rotary - Change Lives” and our club is eager to do our part towards achieving this task.

Around the world and around the corner, the 1.2 million men and women of Rotary:

  • Get involved in their communities
  • Connect with other professionals
  • Share their time and experience
  • Support global causes, such as eradicating polio
  • Use their skills to help others

Whether you're a veteran volunteer or new to community service, if this sounds like something that you’d be interested in being a part of, we’re anxious to talk to you!  To learn more about this great organization, you are welcome to visit us for a free lunch at any of our Thursday meetings.  We meet at the Amesbury Sports Park on 12 South Hunt Road, Amesbury at 12:15.  For additional information, please contact me at Wollitz@comcast.net or by phone at 978-884-9687.

Yours in Rotary,

Sue Wollitz
