Today, October 24th is World Polio Day.
For the last 10 days we been collecting change at Amesburys' Middle and High School. Today, Tom Farrell and Julia Phelps picked up collection containers from Amesbury Middle School, Amesbury High School and the Rotary Club. The totals are AMS - $162.23; AHS - 135.62 and the Amesbury Rotary Club $152.46 ($141.46 in change). GRAND TOTAL $450.31. With the 2 to 1 match from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that's $1,350.93 toward Rotary's efforts to END POLIO NOW.#pennypower #endpolionow
